Line Marking
Clear, safe line markings are often necessary for health and safety and also for increased efficiency in the workplace.
The addition of a well designed line marking scheme can help you to organise your working environment efficiently. Walkways, parking bays, gangways, workstations and aisles can be clearly demarcated using contrasting colours and hatching.
Guidance towards fire exits can also be created using line markings. IRL is highly experienced in accurate internal and external floor marking and we are dedicated to helping you to create an efficient and safe workplace.
Line markings and epoxy floor coatings can also be applied to our resin floors.
Polished Concrete
Our polished concrete flooring is another option for dressing up dull and boring concrete. The concrete will be diamond grounded which exposes any stone or what is known as the "salt and pepper look".
The UV Polyurethane top coats are applied with a non-slip coating if required for a glossy, clean and great looking polished finish. The best part is after your concrete floor will require very little work to keep it's good polished looks all year round.
Polishing the concrete improves its density; thus, it reduces its porosity. Any chemical spills can then be more easily cleaned before making your concrete floor stained or damaged.
The better your flooring is polished, the easier it becomes to clean and there are many other health, hygiene, environmental and economical reasons why polished concrete floor is ideal for various floors..
Decorative
We create stunning resin flooring systems which are available in a range of designs and colours.
Our decorative floor finishes, can be applied during the wet pour process to include a range of finishes and classic effects such as floor tiles or terrazzo flooring.
We simulate terrazzo flooring by mixing colourful flakes and quartz in with the resin during the pour process ensuring a flawless and seamless finish.
All of our decorative flooring can can be customised with a bespoke finish to suit your interior or corporate identity.
Our resin flooring systems are easy to maintain so they will look immaculate and vibrant even when they have been subjected to chemical attack, bright lighting or the wear and tear of a busy working environment.
Playsafe
Safe and tough - IRL are approved contractors of the Playsafe Flooring system which is specifically designed to provide shock absorbing surfacing for all types of play areas, including school playgrounds.
This is a wet pour rubber surfacing system which can be applied to tarmac or concrete. It is seamless, but still allows good drainage which means that the treated areas can be used in all weathers.
Self Levelling
Self levelling (or self smoothing) finishes are flow applied resin flooring systems which can be used to
re-cover or repair existing flooring or for new projects.
As the resin is poured a smooth seamless result is guaranteed.We are able to install this type of resin flooring in hard to access sites and it also provides a solution for irregularly shaped areas.
We can supply products which are suitable for tough environments for example industrial flooring, shop flooring or the public sector.
Anti Static
Build up of static electricity can present a real hazard in some environments, such as in the electronics industry, aerospace, and cleanroom facilities.
If static is discharged it can cause damage to sensitive electrical instruments. Static discharge may also need to be eliminated if there is a danger of sparks causing a fire risk, for example where there are solvents or fine powders in the atmosphere.
We can install anti static resin flooring into any commercial or industrial environment which will solve this problem and allow static buildup to dissipate safely.
Our resin floors are chemical resistant, seamless and dust free. They are also hygienic and hard wearing.
Polyurethane
Polyurethane screeds are ideally suited to locations where chemical resistance or maximum cleanliness is needed.
IRL is able to combine these products with other flooring systems to create a resin floor which meets your exact requirements. They can be incorporated into new buildings or to recover or repair existing flooring.
Slip Resistant
All our resin flooring systems have excellent anti slip properties and if the client specifies, we can provide additional anti slip epoxy floor coatings.
We can also install resin flooring specifically designed for vulnerable areas such entrances, ramps, walkways and stairwells. Line markings can be used to create designated walkways to create a safer working environment, and IRL can repair and maintain existing resin and concrete floors thus helping to reduce possible slipping or tripping hazards.
Our aim is to give you peace of mind. IRL can help you assess slip risks of existing flooring and also test the slip resistance of flooring that we have installed. Our slip assessment is carried out using scientific test instruments so that you can rest assured that possible hazards will be identified and your flooring will be completely fit for purpose.
