IRL & Remmers worked together succesfully to complete this project, transforming a warehouse floor in Tamworth using ST100 and Epoxyflex PH.

The project was 1400 sq metres and had to be coordinated with the Client to maintain access to mobile offices within the area.  The existing floor had layers of paint which were removed by vacuum assisted shot blasting, carried out, out of hours to minimise noise levels. The uneven surface was carefully prepared to receive Remmers self smoothing system, colour coordinated to Clients needs including walkways and crossings in 3 different colours.

The project best highlights our professional approach, experience and ability to work with Clients, identifying their objectives and advising them on bespoke specifications to meet their budget and expectations.  This has always been our ethos and is clearly one of the reasons our Clients come back to us time after time. 

IRL Have again this year maintained the SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) accreditation for both CHAS and SafeContractor. In 2019 Safe Contractors key focus was to support their clients to be more than simply compliant. They build their solutions far beyond simple box ticking exercises, instead embracing new and evolving technology that will support clients to keep their workforce safe. That’s genuine added value, and real lives being saved.

It is IRL’s policy to encourage all employees to train further, and the company supports them both financially and practically to develop their career with IRL. Recent training completed by IRL staff includes First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, SSSTS, SMSTS, Manual Handling and, of course, FeRFA NVQ Level 2 in Insitu Flooring.

A number of years ago as a member of FeRFA, we committed to playing our part in halving the amount of construction and packaging waste going to landfill. We pledged that we would promote the adoption and implementation of standards for good practice in reducing waste, recycling more and increasing the use of recycled and recovered materials. 
We receive monthly performance statistics from our recycling partner and we are proud to say that our current level of recycling is 98%.
