The Arcadian is a unique complex set around an attractive piazza and is the perfect place to relax with friends and enjoy al fresco dining and drinks, when the British weather allows! The Arcadian is located in Southside one of the most diverse and exciting areas in Birmingham.

The Arcadian car park is the closest car park for the Hippodrome as well as being convenient for access to the Bullring and the Chinese Quarter. The car park has achieved 'The Park Mark Award' for safer parking presented by the Home Office and cost effective contracts are available for regular users and tailored packages for short or long term parking can be accommodated.

IRL were invited to install 2 new crossings at The Arcadian Centre, Birmingham. Simple black and white blocks were not what the Client wanted. A designed pattern of zig zags was the client’s request.

The project was carried out with 3am starts to minimise disruption to the busy car park. The existing thermoplastic crossings were removed before the new style crossings installed using Triflex Preco Cryl Kaltplastic.

As with multi-storey and underground car parks there is an increasing need for owners and operators of surface car parks to create an aesthetically pleasing, safe and secure parking environment for their users. The Triflex Creative car park concept has revolutionised thinking through a combination of high quality, durable materials, coupled with design assistance and an unsurpassed colour range to provide an aesthetically pleasing environment for users.

The typical surface car park has a build-up that is generally similar to our roads, meaning surface car parks consequently suffer from many of the same traffic, freeze thaw and oxidisation related issues. These issues can be remedied through the use of our high quality, cold applied systems with the option to incorporate colour and design to transform the parking environment.

Triflex is one of the largest road marking and coating manufacturers in Europe with a specifc focus on colour and design. 

The client was very impressed with the new sharp looking crossings.
