We have been involved in a number of resin flooring projects within the aviation sector but none are more precise and demanding than those carried out for the MOD.
Our instruction was to apply a conductive antistatic system comprising epoxy resin floor primer, epoxy resin flooring conductive base system incorporating copper tape grid and anti-slip conductive finish.
The repairs to defective concrete were made using an epoxy resin mortar. Line marking and hatching was applied to the finished surfaces in contrasting colours. Finally it was independently tested after completion and adheres to the MOD requirements.
For this project a two component, solvent free, coloured, electrostatically conductive resin flooring system filled with sand to produce a self smoothing screed was used. This type of flooring system can be used in many situations including:
