IRL have been undertaking projects for 3M Health Care at various locations nationally for over ten years.
A typical example of our work for them was the upgrading of the Unimix Room where we removed the existing kerbs and plinths. We supplied and fixed new kerb details together with the installation of stainless steel channels and sumps. The overall requirement was for a seamless resin non-slip anti-static floor to withstand hot water. The system was to incorporate a damp proof membrane and provide a conductive floor surface with a leakage resistance of 5 x 10–10 ohm.
The contract was completed on time, to the Clients total satisfaction, even though the original project period had been reduced.
