MERRY HILL CAR PARK

IRL Group were involved in the development of a major project known as Sainsbury’s Car Park at Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Brierley Hill comprising in excess of 9000m2 of top deck treatment. The existing failed system was removed and a Sika Waterproofing Membrane applied. Parking areas were green, traffic aisles in grey with contrasting shades for lining, directional markings and associated symbols. The Main Contractor was Everlast Waterproofing of Leeds.

ANOTHER GREAT JOB FOR NETWORK RAIL

IRL jumped at the chance when given the opportunity to work on another great project for Network Rail, the works were to the Pedestrian Walkway to Rugby Station.

The project comprised of preparation by a suitable combination of Vacuum blasting containing all dust and debris in sealed containers. The main system consisted of using BASF Conideck. On completion Adhesion slip resistant tests were carried out both acheieving high standards.

HM PRISON NOTTINGHAM

We were pleased to be involved in the refurbishment to the shower blocks at HM Prison Nottingham. We were awarded this project by Smallman & Sons.

We created falls to all shower areas using Sika PurCem 20 to resolve lying water problems to shower areas.

All works were completed within the scheduled time scale and finished to a very high standard.
