When Fitzpatrick Contractors Ltd were looking for a Contractor to
do this project IRL were more than happy to offer their
expertise. The works comprised of floors and pit floors to
receive 2 packs of Chemically Resistant Epoxy Coating System and
having a slip resistant value of 45 and a minimum thickness of
150mm finished to a very high standard.
Fitzpatrick were extrememly pleased with the finished project and
with the friendly co-operation of IRL personnel.
NEXT, ENDERBY

IRL were delighted when awarded this kitchen refurbishment
project for Next at Enderby. The Main Contractor was Graham
Taylor of Thurmaston in Leicester. IRL Group went in over the
Christmas period to remove all of the existing vinyl sheet
flooring and adhesive. The concrete floor was then prepared using
concrete planers and diamond grinders, all dust and debris was
removed from the preparation in sealed containers. Altrocrete PU
Polyurethane Screed was applied to all the floor areas, cove
skirting was formed using Altro Render Grade Screed finished into
a Stainless Steel Birds Beak Detail. An epoxy coating was then
applied to the internal concrete pillars.
The works were completed within the specified timescale, Graham
Taylor is thrilled with the system and with IRL's ability to
operate within the requested time schedule, delivering a top
quality finished product.
SHEEPBRIDGE COMMERCIALS

Following recent fire damage at Sheepbridge Commercials in
Chesterfield, IRL Group were awarded the Contract for the
refurbishment works. The project comprised of preparation by a
suitable combination of dust free vaccum shot blasting & diamond
grinding all dust and debris was contained in sealed extraction
equipment. The defective areas of concrete substrate were made
good using a Resin Bonded Repair Mortar. The completed floor
areas and pits were treated with a non-slip solvent free epoxy
resin finish. Hazard Warning banding was applied following
completion of the main floor works.
The contract was carried out over the Christmas period and
completed within the scheduled timescale to a very high standard,
ready to re-open again in the New Year.
